THE HOLY SPIRIT IN THE OLD TESTAMENT
Most believe that the Holy Spirit did not reside inside man un6l
Pentecost.
This is based on John 7:39.
But this he spoke of The Spirit which they that believe on him
will receive, for The Holy Spirit was not yet given to them;
because Jesus was not yet glorified.
This verse refers to The followers of Jesus only.
John 16:7 says;
Truly Truly I tell you, it is good that I am going away. Unless I go
away, the Advocate in Greek(paraclete) will not come to you.; but if I go
I will send him unto you.
Was anyone said to be permanently filled with the Holy Spirit
before then?

John the Baptst in Luke 1:15 .
For he shall be great in the sight of The Lord, and shall drink
neither wine or strong drink; and he shall be filled with the Holy
Spirit , even from his mother’s womb.Others mentioned include Mary, Zacharias ,Elizabeth, The
workmen who built the Temple and the furnishings, and many

AZer David sinned, he pleaded with God to not take his Holy
Spirit from him as happened to King Saul.

Cast me not from thy presence ; and take not thy Holy Spirit

How can someone be born when they are old?
